Our Team

After over 25 years with Chambersburg Dental Associates, Dr. Gleba is retiring in May 2024! Dr. Gleba started with us in 1998 and has played a pivotal role as an ambassador of CDA. She has seen many changes in Dentistry over the years and has never faltered in her dedication to her beloved patients and co-workers. Although we are sad to see her go and will miss her greatly, we wish her well as she enjoys her well deserved retirement. 

Dr. Maria S. Gleba is a native of McKeesport, Pennsylvania. She is a high honors graduate of Carlow College in Pittsburgh and in 1992 received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine.

After graduation, Dr. Gleba accepted a commission in the United States Navy. She served aboard two ships including the USS John C. Stennis and received four Navy Achievement Medals and the National Defense Medal.

Upon resigning her commission as Lieutenant Commander, she entered private practice in 1998 at Chambersburg Dental Associates. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, and the American Legion.

Dr. Angela M. Lucarini is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 2008, she graduated with high honors in biology and anthropology from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Dr. Lucarini then earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania in 2012. She was awarded Honors in Clinical Dentistry and Community Service.

Dr. Lucarini joined Chambersburg Dental Associates in 2012. She is currently a member of the American Dental Association and the Pennsylvania Dental Association.

Dr. Phillip J. Van Cleaf grew up in Bushkill, Pennsylvania, part of the Pocono Mountains. He attended the Pennsylvania State University where he graduated with a B.S. degree in Nutritional Sciences and thesis honors from the Schreyer Honors College.

Dr. Van Cleaf went on to study dentistry at the University at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine. He graduated with cum laude honors receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.

Dr. Van Cleaf joined Chambersburg Dental Associates in 2012. He is currently a member of the American Dental Association and the Pennsylvania Dental Association.

Dr. Jeffrey F. Mazzarella is a native of Ebensburg, Pennsylvania. He attended Shippensburg University where he received his bachelor of science in Biology, and graduated with Cum Laude honors.

Dr. Mazzarella continued his education at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with Honors. Upon receiving his doctorate, he was also recognized with awards in the specialties of Endodontics and Restorative Dentistry.

Dr. Mazzarella completed a General Practice Residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He joined Chambersburg Dental Associates in 2013. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and Delta Sigma Delta Dental Society

Dr. Matthew P. Stepler was born and raised in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. He attended Temple University where he was accepted into an accelerated Bachelor’s degree in Biology with dental focus. He graduated with his Bachelors’ degree in 2012.

Dr. Stepler continued his education at the Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University. He graduated with Cum Laude honors receiving his Doctorate in Dental Medicine in 2015.

Dr. Stepler joined Chambersburg Dental Associates in 2015. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Pennsylvania Dental Association.
